Own studio Started her own photo studio in central Copenhagen

Travelling together with photographer Bent Rej, a worldwide travel project for Carlsberg’s “Probably the Best Beer in the World” campaign. Working for various charity events.
Developing Botanic Couture concept, what later became her trademark. This was stilettos and shoes constructed of flowers, fruits and vegetables designed for marketing, such as shoes for Hillary Clinton, protector of the Breast Cancer Support Event
1993-1996
After her exam she went to work in New York for 4 years. Her goal was to further educate herself getting inspired by the most famous and talented photographers in the world. Pursuing her biggest idols, she managed to work for world known portrait – and fashion photographers like: Irving Penn, Annie Leibowitz, Richard Avedon and Mary Ellen Mark

Her final exam won her 3 awards and 4 prices for best Photography Student of the year.
1988
Stine Heilmann starts her studies at Copenhagen photo academy. During her 5 years of studying she was an intern with one of the most successful advertising photographers in Denmark “Torsten Graae”, who was and still is an expert in light setting and aesthetic motives
